Before I got Engaged
I have 3 years of Recruitment experience most recently for a very large international agency, specialising in the Social Housing sector before most recently moving into Architecture recruitment.
I loved the challenge of learning a whole new sector and the specialist nature of these roles and the opportunity it gives you to build relationships with candidates and also learn something new from them every day.
Before I moved into recruitment, I started my career in Insolvency as a Qualified Debt Advisor following successfully passing my CPPI with merit, before then moving into sales executive roles.
Why I got Engaged
I knew Engage was right for me as soon as I met Anne-Marie and the team. They explained and showed me their way of working, which was exactly what I was looking for, a company that puts the candidate and client first and takes the time to listen to their requirements to provide value recruitment that finds the perfect match and not ‘any’ match.
Along with working to a recruitment business model that I believe is the right and only way that recruitment should be done, the team here are so warm and welcoming which was very important along with autonomy and trust being instilled into staff to allow the whole recruitment process to run as intended.
What Engages Me
I was born and raised in the sunny valleys of South Wales (the sunny part was a joke!). I live with my Wife, two dogs, Coco (Cockapoo) and Ruby (Cavapoo) and Daisy the rabbit. I enjoy going out for walks with my wife and dogs and sitting down to a movie and a takeaway on the weekends. Me and my wife are obsessed with going on holidays and traveling as much as we can anywhere in the world. I enjoy traveling down to Wales to visit my Dad and Grandparents as often as I can and also enjoy spending time with my family that live in Glasgow and making my little niece, Eva, laugh and winding up my mother!
