Are you an experienced Procurement professional? Do you have extensive strategic procurement and category management experience?
A globally recognised drinks business in Glasgow is looking to add a Procurement Category Manager to their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to Procurement Lead, you will play a key role in developing sourcing plans for your category. You will manage service levels and performance levels to meet business objectives and be responsible for a substantial budget.
Key duties:

Drive sourcing strategies and program plans with suppliers

Design and implement a robust supplier development program

Analyse market trends and identify new suppliers where appropriate

Ensure all strategies for commodities are reviewed and agreed by all stakeholders
What you’ll need:
- Category management/sourcing experience
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently in a standalone role
