An Ayrshire-based manufacturing company are looking to hire a Plant Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a critical appointment for the business – the successful candidate will assume responsibility for all phases of plant operations including material handling, electrical generation, maintenance, quality and health & safety.
Key Duties:
- Work with H&S Manager to drive a safety culture throughout the plant. Ensure policies and protocols are adhered to at all times – creating a safe environment for all personnel on site
- Full managerial responsibility for CHP Plant and associated equipment
- Overseeing production KPI’s
- Lead, develop and facilitate career development for team of CHP operators
- Manage production costs and protect profitability of the plant
- Ensure plant is fully compliant with relevant legislation
- Manage key customers and ensure expectations and standards are met
What you’ll need:
- Plant supervisory experience ideally from within heavy engineering/biomass/energy
- Health & Safety experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Excellent communication skills
