Environmental Manager - Borders & South

Are you an experienced Environmental Manager looking to join a rapidly-growing organisation? Does the sound of working in a newly-created role with autonomy to implement your own ideas and processes appeal?  

This is a unique offering where you’ll be given the opportunity to lead on various environmental projects and workstreams as part of the wider SHEQ department. This role will report directly to SHEQ Manager. You’ll work alongside a truly supportive and committed leadership team where environmental management is a top priority.

Some of the duties will include:

• Provide expert environmental guidance and support to business and colleagues
• Analyse compliance trends and identify risks
• Handle nuisance investigations with the general public
• Provide leadership, strategic direction and risk management guidance
• Ensure external contractors minimise risk to the business

What you’ll need:

• Environmental discipline qualification
• In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation
• Computer literacy
• Full driving licence
