OUR CLIENT MAKES THE EARTH MOVE. LITERALLY

Do you remember why you wanted to be a design engineer?

Our client, Volvo Construction Equipment, has been making the Earth move since the 1950's, from their site in Lanarkshire and is a globally recognised brand name.

We could go on about all the awards the company has won, however, what WE get excited about, is their passion, their innovation and investment in their people.

Designing and manufacturing from Scotland to meet the demand for products world-wide, they are investing heavily in new product introduction, developing the existing product range, utilising the latest technology to meet market needs - so it's a busy and exciting time.

The business has also invested heavily in its talent with an internal university, offering development opportunities, supplemented by access to relevant external courses including Chartership.

Culturally, there is a 'can do' attitude, with support throughout the business and a collaborative mindset. In addition, this is REAL engineering - you can see, feel, touch and DRIVE the products!

Below, Technical Specialist: Ian Ritchie, who has been with the company for 34 years, gets the chance to drive a product he helped support, in its natural environment.

There are a number of opportunities to own the next range of their ground-breaking products. These are roles for established design engineers, with a good educational background ad similar industry background in product development, ideally with some leadership experience. These range from:

Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer

Principle Mechanical Design Engineer

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Most importantly though, is the fit for the organisation, so you should demonstrate drive, creativity, positivity, ownership and unbridled enthusiasm.
