Manufacturing Administrator - Glasgow

£25,000 + bonus & additional benefits - Administration

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Administrator looking to grow and develop within your career?

You have proven to be a strong communicator and can organise schedules within busy departments.

You’ll be joining the team based in Glasgow as their Technical Administrator, which is vital to their ambitious growth plans. 

What you will do:

 

  • Data entry into the MRP systems

  • Constructing and ongoing maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM) data in MRP systems.

  • Assisting the Engineering Change Control team, collating, and issuing drawings & technical data internally and externally.

  • Offering administrative support to the Homologation team, printing VIN labels & CoC certificates etc

  • Compiling data & reporting stock levels/open order balances to the Engineering Change Control team

  • Creating & maintaining seating plan documents requires basic image manipulation skills.

  • Coordinating the rework of affected parts with internal and external suppliers, the booking in/out of inventory

  • Raising, maintaining & closing development work orders for Engineers

  • Sending out drawings/data packs to external suppliers, coordinating the timely responses

 

About you:

  • Computer literacy

  • Basic digital image manipulation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience of, or qualification in, a technical discipline or applied science (e.g., Automotive, aeronautical or electrical engineering, or Materials Technology
