Salary: c£35k per annum plus bonus OTE £65k pa

As new business sales executive you will support the Sales Director in meeting their annual new business revenue targets through careful management, targeting and conversion of ideal prospects, qualified leads and known accounts and partners.

You will represent this client at events, networking, new business meetings, pitches and proposals and will support their consultative sales team in conducting strategic introductions, presentations and portfolio showcases. As well as helping to generate brand new opportunities, you will support the wider sales and marketing team in preparing suitable outbound campaigns and marketing collateral to best sell their skills and experience across, web, mobile, IOT and Voice.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive in their approach, flexible, self-motivated and a natural self-starter. Relevant experience in a technology environment and a passion for new and emerging technologies are a must.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining a database of leads
  • Profiling and qualifying business prospects
  • Conducting introductory meetings and presentations
  • Coordinating new business campaigns
  • Contributing to client proposals, pitches and presentations
  • Representing our practice at industry conferences and events
  • Networking and growing our active list of prospects and leads
  • Supporting our consultative sales team and key talent in planning, design and technology to scope solutions and meeting client and commercial requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in Technology, Business, Marketing or similar
  • Experience working in a target driven sales role
  • Experience selling technology and design services
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience working with sales CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce CRM, Hubspot etc)
  • Proven planning and organisation skills
  • Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience writing commercial proposals and RFPs
  • Experience selling Microsoft .net technology services
  • Experience working in a fast paced agency environment
