HSE Specialist - Glasgow

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to join a global drinks business in Scotland? Do you like the idea of being given opportunity to shape their HSE agenda for the large Glasgow site?

We are working with an instantly recognisable brand who have a requirement for a HSE Specialist to join the team on an initial 6 months basis. This role will be split between remote and from their Glasgow operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide robust health & safety support to management and staff across site
• Continually look to improve health, safety and environmental processes
• Produce reports for senior management including key issues, statistics and developments
• Monitor accident occurrences, investigate, and take appropriate preventative and corrective action
• Carry out regular and efficient risk assessments and analyse and identify areas for improvement

What you’ll need:

• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience in manufacturing or process environments
• A strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
