Leading distribution business in Livingston currently have a unique hybrid opportunity for a Health & Safety specialist to undertake a position covering health, safety, environmental, quality and facilities agenda.
This role could suit someone who would enjoy a move from site work to an office-based position, or perhaps looking to move away from a pressured and intensive health and safety focussed role into a more relaxed and varied position.
Some of the duties will include:
Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company
Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, contractual requirements, and good industry practice.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Conduct periodic audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
Manage and maintain building facilities management.
What you’ll need:
Strong leadership skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements
A “hands-on” implementer of processes and change
NEBOSH or similar qualification Desirable (training can be provided)
Experienced in managing and implementing Quality Management Systems
