Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional? Does the opportunity to work in a hybrid role appeal?

Leading distribution business in Livingston currently have a unique hybrid opportunity for a Health & Safety specialist to undertake a position covering health, safety, environmental, quality and facilities agenda.


This role could suit someone who would enjoy a move from site work to an office-based position, or perhaps looking to move away from a pressured and intensive health and safety focussed role into a more relaxed and varied position.


Some of the duties will include:


  • Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company

  • Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, contractual requirements, and good industry practice.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters

  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Manage and maintain building facilities management.


What you’ll need:


  • Strong leadership skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements

  • A “hands-on” implementer of processes and change

  • NEBOSH or similar qualification Desirable (training can be provided)

  • Experienced in managing and implementing Quality Management Systems
