Do you know the differences between CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink?

We’re hoping you can tell us because we are looking for someone to join our client as an Electrical Design Engineer.

You’ll mostly use your experience to work on all electrical/electronic technical matters, including New Product Development and Current Model Production. If you’ve got skills in digital image manipulation, electrical fault finding, problem- solving, they’ll be put to really good use.

You’ll work on everything from designing and developing new and existing electrical and electronic systems from concept, right the way through to manufacture and delivery – so you’ll need to be comfortable doing things like amending designs/technical spec/Bills of Materials or documentation, be an excellent ambassador for the engineering team, support the Engineering Manager in answering technical related enquiries, being the support structure during production implementation and just keep up to date of new products, impending changes and any legislation that may affect the detail of the design solution produced. The ability to work with technical regulations and standards – is essential.

You’ll need advanced technical skills like CANbus systems and MS Office Suite, but also the ability to communicate complex information simply while retaining your personable nature.

You’ll be joining a manufacturing market leader, that has a nationwide reputation for ensuring quality, value and customer satisfaction and the key to this success is its dedicated and committed workforce.

You’ll work with leading technologies in Electrical Schematic Software (SolidWorks), and support not only the General Manager in Production, but also work closely with the Engineering and Design Manager, Sales & Marketing and Engineers, so it would be helpful if you’ve worked on manufacturing projects before.

What’s in it for you:

The potential to earn and grow.

The salary is negotiable (talk to us about your experience and we can always talk about salary). We prioritise respect, collaboration, courage, passion and ambition, so along with constantly developing your skills and growing within a business that will notice you, there’s also Group Pension Scheme, Group Life, Car Lease Scheme and Aftersales Discounts to enjoy.
