EHS & Engineering Manager - Lanarkshire

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to join a growing business in Scotland? Do you like the idea of starting in a newly created role where you will be given autonomy to shape the Health & Safety agenda and oversee a busy site just outside Glasgow?

We are working with a leading manufacturing business that has a requirement for a Health & Safety Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

As part of this role, you'll:

• Provide robust health & safety support to management and staff acrossthe site.
• Produce monthly/annual reports for senior management including key issues, statistics and developments
• Monitor accident occurrences, investigate, and take appropriate preventative and corrective action
• Carry out regular and efficient risk assessments and analyse and identify areas for improvement

Ideally, you'll have:

• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
