Our client, a leading manufacturing company specialising in high-quality products, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in Renfrewshire.

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement activities across the production line, managing a portfolio of improvement projects, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in lean manufacturing, project management, and technical systems while contributing to meaningful improvements within a well-established organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Driving continuous improvement across the production line
  • Managing and implementing improvement projects aligned with business needs
  • Developing solutions to improve operational efficiency and product quality

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experienced Engineer, or an Engineering graduate with a HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma principles (Yellow Belt in Six Sigma is advantageous) 
  • Knowledge of CAD, PLC control systems and quality management systems such as Q-Pulse is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Proven technical expertise in a manufacturing environment
