We have an opportunity for a tenacious and ambitious Buyer to join a busy procurement team on a permanent basis. You will manage the supplier base from a strategic and operational perspective to drive value and ensure on-time delivery.
As part of this role, you'll:
- Supplier management including sourcing new suppliers
- Purchasing commodities at the best price whilst not compromising on quality
- Assist in implementing new procurement processes and continually looking at areas for improvement
- Account management of key subcontractors
Ideally, you'll have:
- Proven experience within similar role and environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
