Business Development Executive - Renfrewshire / Inverclyde

You're an established Business Developer with experience in a Procurement role. You're comfortable opening new doors and sourcing new suppliers and clients. 

You've already had some experience and understanding of working within busy Procurement function, proven yourself to be a strong communicator and ideally able to speak another European language. 

You are driven by values, you're energetic and motivated. A sales professional, looking to develop your own career while playing a big part within an exciting business with ambitious growth plans. 

If you are looking to take the next step in your career, our Renfrewshire based client requires a talented Business Development Executive to join their team. 

If you can:

• Purchase materials that are of expected standard, ensuring value for money and timely delivery
• Source new suppliers and ensure they are fit for purpose and align with company values
• Manage existing accounts and supplier base
• Communicate effectively across various internal departments, particularly Sales and Logistics
• Work alongside the Procurement Director in continuously improving Procurement function
• Occasional international travel to meet new and existing suppliers

And be:

• Experienced within a Supply Chain/Procurement/Sales environment
• Able to communicate professionally.
• Proficient in English and another European language (preferably)
• IT literate
